SMS Match Update Service
It is now possible to stay up to date with the results from Runcorn matches using SMS (Short Messaging Service) via your mobile phone. To register for this service you need to text the word “Runcorn” to 81808.
This service costs 15p per message, but they are billed in blocks of ten, i.e. the first message costs £1.50, but the next 9 messages are free.
FAQ
What messages will I get?
You will receive notifications of the change of score from most matches, half-time and full-time scores from matches where the score hasn’t altered during that half. In the event that live updates are not available, you will receive notification of the full time scores. You will also receive potentially important fixture announcements, e.g. match postponements or cancellations.
How do I unsubscribe?
You can unsubscribe at any time by sending “Runcorn stop” to 81808.
How much does it cost?
The service costs 15 pence per message, but the messages are billed in blocks of 10. The first message you receive costs £1.50, and the next 9 are free. The 11th message you get costs £1.50 and the next 9 are free, and so on.
